Types of assistance
Free access
Qualifying users receive full access at no cost. This is available to people facing significant financial hardship, including unemployment, disability, or caregiving responsibilities.
Sliding scale
Pay what you can genuinely afford. We look at your situation individually and set a contribution level that makes sense, anywhere from a small monthly amount to $0.
Scholarships
A limited number of full scholarships are available each month for users who have engaged meaningfully with the free resources and whose need is clear.
How it works

Start by completing the free theorist-matching quiz. This gives us the context we need and unlocks your dashboard, where the assistance application lives.
Apply inside your dashboard
Once you have an account, open the Financial Assistance section of your dashboard. You will answer a few short questions about your situation. The whole thing takes under five minutes.

Many of the tools and the 7-day guide for your theorist match are already free. Dig in straight away — it also helps us understand how you engage before we review your request.
Receive your discount or free access
We aim to respond within 7 days. Once confirmed, you will receive either a meaningful discount or completely free access depending on your circumstances. Access lasts 6 months and can be reinstated. Your progress is never lost.

Common questions
Where do I actually apply?
Inside your dashboard. Once you have an account, open the Financial Assistance section and fill in the short form there. There is no application on this page.
Do I need to complete the 7-day guide before applying?
No. Apply as soon as you have an account. If approved, we will encourage you to work through the free 7-day guide for your match as part of the process, but it is not a prerequisite.
How long does it take to hear back?
We aim to respond within 7 days of receiving your application through the dashboard. If we need a little more information, we will reach out by email before making a decision.
What counts as completing the 7-day guide?
Working through the guide associated with your theorist match or the framework you are most drawn to. We are not looking for perfection, just genuine engagement.
Will I get a full discount or a partial one?
It depends on your circumstances. Some applicants receive completely free access, others a significant discount. We look at each situation individually.
How long does the assistance last?
Assisted access lasts 6 months. After that you can reapply to reinstate it. Your progress is never lost, so you pick up exactly where you left off.
Will my information be kept private?
Absolutely. Everything you share is completely confidential and will never be used for any other purpose.
