1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MindMatch ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. What MindMatch Is

MindMatch is an educational psychology platform. It offers a two-phase questionnaire that matches users with psychological theorists, free interactive tools and exercises tied to those frameworks, free 7-day guides for each theorist, and paid courses that go deeper into specific topics.

The platform is built on the belief that psychological self-understanding should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. Free resources will always remain free. Paid courses include a financial assistance program for those who cannot afford them.

3. Free Resources and Guide Access

The theorist matching assessment, theorist pages, interactive exercises, and free tools are available without an account. The 7-day guides associated with each theorist are gated and require either a valid magic link or a MindMatch account to access.

Magic links are sent by email and are valid for 7 days from the time they are issued. Once verified, access is maintained by a cookie lasting 30 days. You may request a new link at any time.

Authenticated users with a MindMatch account bypass the magic link gate entirely for all free content.

4. User Accounts

You may create an account using email and password or Google OAuth. When you do, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information at registration
• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access

5. Paid Courses

MindMatch offers paid courses as one-time purchases. There are no subscriptions. When you purchase a course, you receive lifetime access to that course at the tier you purchased. Courses are currently offered in three tiers:

• Tier 1 (Core Course): Video modules and static reading materials
• Tier 2 (AI-Enhanced): Everything in Tier 1, plus personalized questionnaires, AI-generated readings, and adaptive resources tailored to your profile
• Tier 3 (Full Bundle): Everything in Tier 2, plus a personalized 20-page PDF completion document and 3 included revisions from the course creator

Pricing for each tier is shown on the course landing page at the time of purchase. Prices may change for new purchases, but existing purchasers are not affected.

6. Refund Policy

Because course content is delivered digitally and accessible immediately upon purchase, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a course has been accessed.

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing content you have purchased, please contact us at legal@mindmatch.agency and we will work to resolve it promptly.

7. PDF Completion Bundle and Revisions (Tier 3)

Tier 3 purchasers receive a personalized 20-page PDF document written by the course creator following completion of the course material. This document includes a short-term and long-term implementation plan tailored to the buyer's questionnaire responses and theorist profile.

Three rounds of revisions are included. You have 14 days from the date of course completion to submit revision requests. This window exists so that you have time to implement the practices before providing feedback, keeping the revisions grounded in your actual experience of the material.

You are entitled to all three revisions regardless of any delays on the course creator's end. If the creator's response time extends beyond the 14-day window through no fault of your own, your revision entitlement is preserved.

8. AI-Generated Content

Tier 2 and Tier 3 include AI-generated readings and adaptive resources. This content is produced by a language model based on your questionnaire responses and theorist match. It is designed to be educationally useful and contextually relevant, but it is generated content and should be understood as such.

AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice. MindMatch does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated material. If you have concerns about any content you receive, please contact us.

9. Financial Assistance Program

MindMatch operates a financial assistance program for users who cannot afford paid courses. Applications are reviewed individually. Successful applicants may receive a significant discount or completely free access depending on their circumstances.

As part of the application process, accepted applicants are asked to complete the free 7-day guide associated with their theorist match before being granted course access. This is not a formal requirement in the legal sense, but a genuine way of ensuring the material will be useful to the recipient.

Information submitted as part of a financial assistance application is treated with complete confidentiality and will not be used for any other purpose.

10. Intellectual Property

All course content, written materials, PDF documents, assessments, exercises, and platform features are the intellectual property of MindMatch and its creators. This includes AI-generated content produced by the platform on a user's behalf.

You may not reproduce, share, resell, or redistribute any paid course content without prior written permission. Personal use is permitted. The personalized PDF you receive as a Tier 3 purchaser is yours to keep and reference, but may not be redistributed or published.

11. Your Content

You retain ownership of any personal content you submit through the platform, including journal entries, exercise responses, and questionnaire answers. By submitting this content, you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.

We do not use your personal responses to train AI models, share them with third parties, or use them for any purpose beyond delivering your personalized content.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Misrepresent your circumstances in a financial assistance application
• Share, resell, or redistribute paid course content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MindMatch and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including:

• Loss of data or access due to technical failure
• Reliance on AI-generated content
• Decisions made based on theorist matching or course material
• Service interruption or unavailability

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access free content and any active account features will cease. Your lifetime access to purchased course content is not affected by account termination unless the termination is a result of a verified breach of these Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation where possible, and through binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction where necessary.

17. Changes to These Terms

We will update the date at the top of this page whenever these Terms change. For significant changes that affect existing purchases or active users, we will send a notice by email where possible. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
